Thick, delicious, hand pulled noodles.
Still as great as it is underrated, Chongqing Noodles is one of our favourite genres of restaurants — it serves exactly what its name suggests. Sure, you can get dumplings and vegetable sides and spring onion pancakes and large shareable mains (all of which are great), but the absolute best thing here are the noodles, especially the thick, roughly chopped hand-pulled ones. Every noodle we’ve tried has been good, but we especially enjoy the ginger duck. There’s now a few Chongqing Noodles around town (Albany; central city), but we love the original the most.
