Kōkako coffee

ONE, which stands for Onehunga Neighbourhood Eatery, has large folding doors that open right out to the sidewalk, and its staff are as sunny as the light that floods in. The cafe itself is large and spacious, with plenty of tables and low cushy couches to get comfortable on — there’s even a co-working space upstairs if you want somewhere permanent to get things done. The menu is mostly cafe classics but traverses the globe, from an economical $15 breakfast burrito to masala scrambled eggs — there’s even bubble tea for a non-caffeinated sweet drink. By night, the space turns into a social enterprise, the pay-as-you-feel restaurant Everybody Eats.
