We love the warmth that emanates from this family-run cafe, where Dieu Tran bakes baguettes and loaves from the early hours of the morning, and wife Trinh Tran works in the kitchen to serve up the bánh mì, pho and bún cha offered on the menu. One of the first things you see upon walking in is the line-up of goods in the cabinet, which can range from danishes and croissants to eclairs and tarts, depending on the day. If you don’t feel up to a whole meal, but you’d like something more than a snack, try to snag yourself one of their big, flaky pies: they make for a delicious (and satisfying) lunch.
