A glass case full of cheeses, a cabinet full of pâtisserie, a cellarful of wines — L’Atelier du Fromage is exceedingly French (in a good way). It feels singular for Auckland: a one-stop shop where you can peruse the browsable shelves of deli goods just by the entrance or take away a baguette for lunch. We like that you more or less know exactly what you’re going to get here (you know, charcuterie, cheese boards and coq au vin), and it’s all executed to a tasty finish.
