Seabreeze

Seabreeze is a quintessential suburban cafe, with every detail closely considered. The bones are strong — a nice-looking fit-out, the views over to the sea — and everything about the space makes sense, from the slick service to the stack of New Yorkers to the bowls of takeaway salads ready for Westmere locals. The on-menu food is a drawcard, too — several notches above standard fare. We like the bharta eggs for breakfast, where two poached eggs come in a bowl with eggplant purée and chilli butter.
