Metro presents: Sid at The French Café

Join us for an intimate dinner with new owners Sid and Chand Sahrawat.

Metro invites you to meet The French Café’s new owners at a special event on Thursday, October 4.

Join us in the renowned restaurant’s private dining room for a four-course meal prepared by Sid, crowned Best Chef in the Metro Peugeot Restaurant of the Year Awards 2018.

The bespoke menu includes canapes, market fish ceviche, quail with Meyer lemon, beef with smoked parsnip and goat’s curd, and a sumptuous chocolate dessert. Wine matches have been curated by The French Café’s sommelier.

An open-plan cooking station, shared tables and a relaxed pace mean you’ll be able to chat with Sid as he cooks. This event will showcase his skills in modern European cuisine.

The Sahrawats, the owners of Cassia and Sidart and winners of a host of awards in the Metro Peugeot Restaurant of the Year Awards 2018 including the Supreme Award, have now taken the helm at The French Café. The fine-dining institution has been renamed Sid at The French Café.

Tickets for Metro presents: Sid at The French Café are $200 per person and include canapes, a four-course dinner and wine pairing. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if advised when booking. Book online here.
