Behind the scenes: Illustrator Lauren Marriott at work - video

Nov 2, 2015 Art

The October 2015 issue of Metro was special for many reasons. It was Simon Wilson’s last as editor and to celebrate he commissioned a series of exclusive illustrations from some of New Zealand’s best artists. Here is how Lauren Marriott created her detailed house party of an artwork for Simon Wilson’s Auckland property market feature, Home Truths.

Video filmed by Lauren Marriott and edited by Jack Hurst. Music by JFK, visit his soundcloud. “Do your work, don’t be stupid” sticker designed by Loryn Engelsman.
