Atomic coffee

Fields is one of the most popular (and therefore busiest) cafes on the North Shore, just a short drive away from Westfield Albany mall. Plonked on an empty field, it’s a giant container that’s all white and glass, with a children’s playground on site and plenty of seating inside. The fit-out, done by Material Creative, is upbeat and fun: popping neon and jewelled blues. As for the food, a lot of it is Asian-inspired (like others in the Woozoo Group stable, including Spectra, also in this Top 50) — the tingling fried-chicken burger is our top pick here. The service is also notably attentive. Tick, tick, tick across the board.
