The Night Noodle Markets are back

The popular Night Noodle Markets return for a 10-day stint. During the festival, street food vendors from New Zealand and Australia will take over Victoria Park every night from 5pm – all you have to do is show up and eat. Entry to the event is free and includes live music and performances. Be sure to come hungry as there will be lots to sample.

Test out the menu for a new opening

David Lee (Major Sprout), Woo Hyung Lee (Camper Coffee) and Tom Hong (Geeks on Sainsbury) have been working on new, all-day eatery The Candy Shop, due to open in a few weeks in Newmarket. Ahead of the unveiling, Major Sprout will host two pop-up dinner sittings to preview the menu. Tickets are $49 per person for five courses, with drinks available to purchase.

Chow down on vegan dosas at this pop-up brunch

Plant enthusiast Gemma Walsh is celebrating her Indian heritage through food, with a first-come, first-served pop-up at Strange Haven studio. The offering is simple – a gluten-free, vegan dosa filled with spiced vegetables, minted coconut yoghurt, tamarind chutney and crispy chickpeas. They cost $12 each and are available until sold out.
